    Hi,

i need to update an older WP-Site (4.9.1, used as a Intranet) after a longer maintenance break.
I was able to update the Site to 5.3.2 and also the Plugins (eg. WP Customer Area + Addons, Widgets on Pages, Advanced Custom Fields, Multiple Roles, …) .
But when i update “Restricted Site Access” from 6.2.1 i can’t login anymore (the site uses the WP Customer Area Auth Form).
After i entered the correct login data and submitted the form, it takes a while and then i come back to the same login form (as set in the settings if login fails). As a fact, i think after the update, there is a problem with the user data validation or something from this area.
Before everything was working correctly, even with everything updated but “Restricted Site Access”.

Does anybody know what exactly changed between 6.2.1 and 7.0.0?
And what could cause this problem?

    Best regards,
    Simon

PS i am using a static page “home” as homepage
