The issue is no doubt attributed to something I did when trying to forward my Domain name to my actual blog. I had been fiddling around in my WordPress settings and changed the, I believe “Blog Name” to my actual domain name ‘website.com’ from it’s original name ‘name.fu8.com.’ Once I did this it gave me a huge error message, I immedietly attempted to go back and change it. I hit the back button, I changed and saved, but I’m assuming it was already too late by this point.

Now when I go to login as opposed to being ‘name.fu8.com/wp-login.php’ It forwards me to ‘name.fu8.com//wp-login.php’ It even lets me access the login screen from ‘website.com/wp-login.php’ but despite my login attempts it never leaves the login screen, as if it’s not even responding. No incorrect password messages, no loading at all. It just goes right back to the same screen.

I really have no idea how to resolve the issue. I wasn’t sure if I would have to literally reinstall everything, which would suck, or if I had to edit something through my ftp, or actual host. I’m completely lost O_o. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks! :).

**Side note: I didn’t put the actual website url info because I wasn’t entirely sure if it was relevant, if it is though just let me know.** Thanks again.

Okay. I just went through the majority of what they suggested and my issue hasn’t changed. When I edit functions.php of my current theme I get no results. So I decided to edit the wp-config.php.

Apparently I had changed the wp home location as opposed to the site url in my wordpress settings. But now even when I’m able to access the administration panel again after changing wp-config.php, the website itself is still not appearing correctly. Nor are the images in my themes area.

I took off all the modifications I made to wp-config, reforwared my Godaddy domain to a Myspace account. What I really need to do is somehow make it as if I never made that alteration on WordPress itself. Is this possible? Would I have to remove and reinstall a file through FTP? Any ideas?

Your video helped a lot. Thanks. I have no idea what I did differently this time around that I didn’t do as directed by the codex besides editing it via cPanel vs Filezilla. But whatever was done worked as far as I can tell. Thanks guys!
