First, to clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/difference-between-wordpress-org-and-wordpress-com/

You may have used the Jetpack plugin to connect your www.ads-software.com site to WordPress.com’s management features, but just because you can log in to WordPress.com doesn’t mean you can log in to your site since they’re entirely separate in that sense.

Next, when this happens it’s almost always because your password manager (either built-into the browser or a third-party extension) isn’t updating. To check, reset the password again to something simple like 1234. If you can log in with that, of course change the password immediately to something stronger and manually update your password manager (and contact its support to find out why it’s not auto-updating).

If that didn’t work, reset your password again to something stronger (just for the sake of security), then try changing it direction in the database following this guide: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/reset-your-password/#through-phpmyadmin

You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel.

And, if that doesn’t work, manually reset your plugins (no Dashboard access required), then try logging in with your new password. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. Hopefully, this will force the default theme to activate and rule out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
