Login on Coming Soon page

    Hi, I really like your plugin! It’s been so useful over the past months that I’ve been building my website.

    Now that it’s done, and I’m ready to launch my site (and my business), I’d like to have a couple of select people review my site for feedback and to check for any errors before I publish it live, but I don’t know how to let them see my site.

    I’ve created a work-around letting them log into the admin page and giving them instructions on how to access the home site from there. I thought it might be better if I could put a password-protected login on the Coming Soon page so I could control who can see the site.

    Is there a way to do that?

    Hi!

    This is a feature of the Pro version but not the Free version. With the free version, you can just create a subscriber’s account like you have already done.

    Oh, yes, of course. I’m only going to need this for another few weeks, so unfortunately I don’t think the Pro option is going to give me value for money at this point. In Australian dollars, it would cost me close to $50, and given work might be real slow for awhile still with COVID-19, I can’t justify the expense ?? I was hoping to be able to share the front end site with a couple of people for testing before I launch.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, the free version does not have the feature and we will not be able to add it to a certain user. The only option to have the password protect or bypass URL is to have the plugin PRO version.
