• Hello there,

I just moved my wordpress form a sub directory to the root directory and my blog shows up fine but I can’t login.

I changed the two urls in the admin/general area to go to the root directory before transferring the files but now when I try to login it seems to redirect and I get a 404 error.

    I put https://mywebsite.com/wp-admin and tried(/index.php)

    but it changes it to:

    https://mywebsite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php

    and a 404 error.

I think it probably has to do with a path change when I moved the files but I don’t know how to rectify it.

Plus…dummy boy removed the login link from the side bar!!!

    Help!

    thank you.
