Hi, are you login in with your new security name i.e yoursite.com/secretname or are you still trying to log in with the following yoursite.com/wp-admin?

    @rjronakmax,

Did you use the “rename login” feature or the cookie based brute force feature?

This is a strange issue which I have not seen before. Maybe you have some kind of conflict?? Have you tried doing a theme and plugin conflict test?

If you are still trying to get back into your site, you can easily temporarily disable the aiowps plugin by doing the following:
    1) rename this plugin’s directory via FTP or cpanel. Eg, by adding a “-temp” to the folder name

    2) if you had activated any of the firewall rules or are using the cookie based brute force feature, edit your site’s main .htaccess file and remove all of the code added by this plugin. ie, all code between and incl;uding the following tags:
    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

Then once you login you can rename the folder back to original and then re-configure the plugin by deactivating the feature which caused your issue.

Hi @mbrsolution, I am trying the new URL only which I renamed from wp-admin.

@wpsolutions, let me try that, Do I have to make any changes to database as well
    ?

I only tried the rename login and I did perform the plugin test, It was coming out to be ok.

Let me try and rename it.

It worked, got access to the WordPress dashboard, not sure what was causing this. Any idea what could be causing this so I keep that in mind in future, for now, I am a bit skeptical of installing the WP-All in one security again.

I haven never seen the issue you are having so that’s why I think it is something unique to your site – perhaps a conflict of some sort.
As previously advised, I recommend that you try doing some plugin/theme conflict tests to see if another plugin or your theme might be causing this.
Perhaps firstly try activating one of the standard WordPress themes (eg, twentysixteen).
Then check if that issue is still occurring – if it’s gone after doing this then your theme is the cause.

Similarly try deactivating the other plugins except aiowps to see if one of them might be causing the conflict.
