    Hi there,

Before submitting this question I searched the thread for a similar question but I couldn’t find any. If my question already has been asked before and I missed it somehow I apologize beforehand.

For some reason after updating all my plugins my website (actually my wife’s website) crashed. After activating and deactivating all my plugins I found out that whenever I activate Uncanny LearnDash Toolkit the website crashes and can’t be visited (error while trying to load the website).

So I deactivated the plugin but now nobody is able to login because the login page only shows:

    [uo_login_ui]

I tried activating the plugin again and turning all the settings for logging in off and then deactivating the plugin again, but unfortunately without succes.

Do you know what might cause this issue and how I can fix this so that everyone can login again?

Some extra information: WordPress and Genesis are the latest versions, LearnDash LMS is version 2.3.0.4 and I’ve also got Theme My Login version 7.0.10. I believe those are the plugins that could effect the login functionality.

I’m looking forward to your reply. Thank you in advance!

    Sincerely,

    Hashim

    Hi Hashim,

Check PHP version first (you must have PHP 5.6 or higher), but I’m really worried about your version of LearnDash. 2.3.0.4 is almost 2 years old. It’s really too old for us to be able to support in the plugin, and yes, we are going to change the requirements in the next release to officially say LD 2.5.4 or higher is required. We unfortunately just can’t test with versions that are that old, as the way they behave can be quite different.

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for your fast reply!

The PHP version is 7.0.31. I understand that the version of LearnDash is too old. Actually I don’t need LearnDash anymore for now. I probably will be needing it again for my next course, but for now I don’t have any new courses planned.

What has me worried is that I’ve got all my LearnDash plugins and the LearnDash Toolkit deactivated but I’m still seeing that code on my login page. Do you have any idea how I can fix that so that I’ll get the regular login page back?

Thank you so much for your help!

    Sincerely,

    Hashim

Oh! Just delete the shortcode and it will no longer show on that page.

Then you’ll just need to restore whatever you had for login previously. If it’s another plugin, add its shortcode back. You mentioned Theme My Login, so delete our shortcode from that page and add theirs back instead.

    Hi there,

I was thinking in so many difficult ways that I didn’t think of something simple like that. Thank you so much for helping me out!

    Sincerely,

    Hashim
