Login page redirection

Hi!
I’m desingning my website but know i want to something that might sound crazy. I think people get lost when they login and they are redirected to their profile’s page, so what i want is to redirect people to the main page instead of their profile’s.
Is that posible?. Please help me!!! i will really appreciate it
(i’m using wordpress 2.7)
