    I am having issue with my WordPress installation, when I try to login through /website/wp-admin/ the page just refreshes. I know the password is correct and I have tried various fixes such as clearing cookies, replacing the wp-login.php file and repairing the database using WP_ALLOW_REPAIR. They seem to work and allow me to login until the next time I have to login and have to do it all over again.

    My question is what could be causing this issue? Is it possible something is constantly corrupting the wp-login.php file?

    Any and all help is appreciated.

    Have you tried renaming your plugins folder and/or theme folder with your ftp client?

    Another possibility is a corrupted .htaccess file or try specifying your website url again in the config.

    define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://example.com’);
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://example.com’);

    I have tried all those steps yes. I made a local copy of the site on my laptop and there are no login problems. The local copy uses a copy of the live database which leads me to believe it is the WordPress install that is the issue.

    Do you think a fresh install of WordPress could fix it?
