Login page shows 404 not found

    I have a fresh installation of wordpress. This is the only plugin I have. I set the url as mysite.com/login. But, that url shows 404 not found. My htaccess is same as default. I have updated and saved permalinks many times. Still same problem persists. Please help.

    Check option “whl_page” in wp_options table please.

    Or conflict with an another plugin.

    Try /login by default

    I have the same problem. I disabled all plugins and the error continues, even uninstalling the plugin itself! can you help me?

    Hello @jorgerodrigues

    If you deactivate WPS Hide Login, your login page slug becomes wp-login.php again.
    If you activate it, the default generated slug is /login.

    Do these informations help you to connect and explain your issue better ?

    I’ve been using this plugin without any issue but plugin is not working.

    – I activate and login is not working – get the 404 page error
    – I deactivate it and I’m able to login through wp-admin

    I’ve created my own login option but even if I use the default login – this is not working. The only option is disabling the plugin and login via wp-admin.

    Fresh install and no other plugins, first time this is happening – any input here please? Made sure there’s no typos and using incognito also but no luck – thanks.

    Hello @cguanaja

    Did you check in your database if your login option was the same as the whl_page line in options table ?
