When I change the salts manually (using the WordPress salt generator), the logged in users cannot log in until they clear their cookies.

Does your plugin also have this problem?

    Hi @monoor,

I understand that when you change the WordPress salt keys in your wp-config.php file and replacing them with the keys from this URL: https://api.www.ads-software.com/secret-key/1.1/salt/, your users can’t log in properly until they clear their cookies.

If that’s true, then Salt Shaker does nothing differently; the underlying mechanism and effects are the same as changing the keys manually.

Hope that helps answering your question.

Thanks, is this problem only on my site? Or on all sites?

If on all sites, then this plugin plays the most destructive role and disrupts the user experience.
    So why is it useful?

I use my-account WooCommerce login page, If it’s only on my site, do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Hi @monoor!

is this problem only on my site? Or on all sites?

The scenario you described does not happen on all websites. It looks like to be an issue on your website.

My suggestion would be following a few basic troubleshooting steps such as deactivating the login-related plugins and confirm if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, you’ll need to disable another group of plugins and test. This conflict test is best described here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    Hope that helps!
