Login Problem With Core Account

    Hey,

    I have news-magazine website, yesterday something go wrong with hosting side. After that i cant login my core admin account. Other account works well but when i try to login with admin account it gives “ERROR: The password entered for Admin is invalid.”. After that problem i connected to phpmyadmin reset password manualy but not works. Still give same error.

    Than i login with other account website gives connection problem to “api.wordpress” and cant reach to plugin and update dashboard. I connect to host provider they solve this problem but Core Admin account still cant access the website. Anyone can help me please?

    Update: Core Account mean ID=1 account. If i promote some account to ID = 1 i cant login with this account.

    If you login with another admin account, can you reset the password of what you call your “core” account? (There’s nothing special about the account with id of 1.)

    I tried all of them yesterday and cant solve problem. There is something wrong with ID=1. if i change to ID=1 account no longer accesable.

    Do you have another admin account?

    If *may* be that your site has been hacked or damaged by a hack attempt. Try installing WordFence and have it scan your site.

    I dont know first time using WP. But i dont have any problem atm. It’s interesting for me. If someplugin or core codes not works for ID1 its ok.
