I’ve seen others report this, but have not seen any responses on how to fix it. I have the below settings configured:

Ultimate Member > Forms > Default Login > Options > Redirect to URL, set to custom specific URL
Ultimate Member > User Roles > Subscriber > Login Options > Redirect to URL, set to custom specific URL

Even with the above set, this feature DOES NOT WORK.

Also, if I do have “Can view default homepage” checked within the User Role, I get redirected to the home page on login. If I do not have that selected, I get redirected to my user profile. Nether of which is the custom URL I set.

PLEASE HELP! As my client needs to get their Users added to be able to access the portal created with this plugin.

    Thanks.

Also, now for some reason, I can’t access the Members page at all from the front end. I have to go to the page via backend by finding the page title in the page list and clicking “View”. This is even though I have a link to it in the navigation. It is redirecting to the home page, too. NOT just on login. Thanks.

I have found if I go to Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Pages and change the page for “Members Page” to anything but what it SHOULD be, it redirects to the proper page I specified for the “Redirect to URL” setting in the User Role and the Login Form settings. This will not work, though, as then the page that should only be able to be viewed by logging in is able to be viewed by anyone. Why is this happening?

Just wanted to check in here to see if anyone has any sort of direction on this? My client needs to be able to use their member portal. Thanks!

    Hi @emgb_520

We apologize for the delay in our response. Please be aware that UM restrictions and redirects do not work on the login page. To implement this functionality, you’ll need to use custom code. You can refer to this article for guide: https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1743-how-to-restrict-redirect-login-page

    Hello @emgb_520

I can’t reproduce this issue. Could you attach screenshots with your form, user role and restriction access settings (Please erase or blur all data that is confidential on the screenshot)?

    Regards.
