login to wp-admin reverts to wordpress.com blog

i recently added a domain name to my web host from wordpress.com in order to get the features of www.ads-software.com i pointed the name to fatcow my web host – installed the WP3.1 connected it to my sub directory where i am hosting the name and it worked – then i changed the email so the user could access his blog and now it reverts to wordpress.com and he cannot log into wp-admin.
i did look through this forumn for this problem but the only 2 posts i found were unanswered

would very much appreciate some advice on this
