• Layman user here. Came back to blog after a year and can’t login. Pretty sure I’m still paying WordPress. I can login here, obviously, but when I try to login to my own blog it says the email address doesn’t exist. yet I login HERE with it that email.

Is my blog deactivated? Hacked? I got emails months ago saying I was hacked but it looks like a phishing probe.

Again, I can login to WP, as I’m logged in to post this, but when I try to login to my own blog, it tells me the email I used to login here isn’t registered with WP.

    Help please!

for the record, your login on your own site has *nothing to do* with your login here. they’re totally separate.

You likely have different logins for all of the following
    -webhosting vendor
    -domain name registrar
    -WordPress Dashboard (a.k.a. WP-Admin area)

contact your webhosting vendor and ask for assistance to find the area “PHPMYADMIN” (in most hosting plan’s cPanel) — then you could check in the USERS table of the database to see which email address is the one to use to login to your WordPress dashboard.
