    Hi,

I want to customise an email message that is sent by Wordfence for “Login Verification”.

    The default message is:

The request was flagged as suspicious, and we need verification that you attempted to log in to allow it to proceed. This verification link will be valid for 15 minutes from the time it was sent. If you did not attempt this login, please change your password immediately.

If you were attempting to log in to this site,?Verify and Log In.

I’ve tried to check where I could customise it, but no luck for now. I check on the documentation to create a function on functions.php file, but I’m also not sure if I won’t break anything on that configuration file and which function to use.

If there is anyone that could help me will appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Hi?@ldouradoscalexa,

Thanks for taking an interest in customizing your Wordfence emails. At the moment, you are unable to customize the mails that are sent from Wordfence. Work on templates and custom wording?has?been on the development radar for inclusion in a future release. Unfortunately I cannot comment here on precise details or a timescale, but all known interest in a feature can only help its cause so it will be passed on.

    Thanks again,
    Margaret

    Hi @wfmargaret ,

I appreciate the clarification and hopefully that could be included soon.
So, there isn’t any chance just to edit the message?
Is also a way that I could restrict the sending of those messages? For example, send it only to the Admins and not including the end-users (users registered on the site)?

    Thank you.

    Hi @ldouradoscalexa,

There isn’t an option in the plugin to customize this email’s content at this time.?

There isn’t an option to disable the CAPTCHA test on specific roles. Any “Verification Required” messages and emails are sent when any user fails to be confirmed as human by reCAPTCHA checks. If you want to disable reCAPTCHA or allowlist specific IP addresses, you can do so in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.?

You can adjust the reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.  You can use the score history chart described below to see the typical scores for your site. If valid users are sometimes blocked by the CAPTCHA, you can set the score lower to 0.4 or 0.3 if necessary.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

    Hi @wfmargaret ,

I will set a lower score and will keep monitoring the score logins.
    Thank you for your inputs.

    Hi,

Has there been made any progress on customising these messages? It is quite bad when a customer receives an email message asking them to click on a link and then entering their login details. That looks very much like phishing to them. At least being able to bring this message in the same layout as other messages sent by Woocommerce and personalise it could help to improve the trust in these emails.
