I’ve created a new website under the domain byjen.eu and installed the plugin Wordfence for protection. Before I had installed that plugin I was always able to log into my WordPress backend without any issues with my login credentials. Now after installing that plugin I can’t log into the backend anymore. Everytime I try to log in with my credentials (which are 100% correct and haven’t been changed) I receive the following error message:
VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Additional verification is required for login. If there is a valid account for the provided login credentials, please check the email address associated with it for a verification link to continue logging in.
After providing my email address I never receive any email with a verification link (yes, I also checked in the spam folder and I tried all possible email addresses already).
Is there any way how I can get my access to the backend back and/or remove that plugin from my website? Is it enough to delete the plugin folder in the FTP or will it break something?
Thanks in advance for the help!
