The home page of my blog changes the login and logout
and shows and removes the link to Site Admin correctly
when installed in the root of a subdomain or domain.
But it placed in a directory it doesn’t show correctly
the login logout and shows that the admin is always logged
in even though you can’t accesss logged in features if
    actually logged out. Any ideas?

You will have to make sure that the two URLs in Options/General correctly reflect the location of your blog’s files, and then clear your browser’s cookies.

Well both URI’s are the same. The reflect the base installation of the blog. I tried this to see about
the cookie thing. I logout in Firefox, then opened
IE, cleared IE’s cookies. Then when to the site and it
    was still messed up.
