On every single one of my web story submissions I keep getting told that my logo isn’t a 1:1 ration and needs to be 96×96 px. I have double checked in my WordPress media and in canvas (which is where I made my logo) that my logo is in fact a 1:1 ratio and it’s 296×296 px. I don’t know what to do to resolve this issue. Please help!

  • Hello @whitjxoxo and thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Web Stories. I can see that there are validation errors on the web story you have provided here .

I am not sure if these are related to the issue you are facing but let’s try to clear these first, get your Web Story valid and see if that helps with the issue you are having.

Would you please be able to share the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information or You can share privately if you prefer via this form.
    2. Are you getting the logo ratio error in the Web Stories editor and at what point does this message display? If you could provide a screenshot of this via Google Drive or Imgur that would be helpful.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

This is the story’s publisher logo:

    That’s not a 1:1 aspect ratio.

Is this the publisher logo you added in the “Document” sidebar in the editor?

That you for the logo info! I got it figured out. I definitely need help with the AMP on this story and a couple others. I just submitted my site health info via the form. Thank you so much for your help with that!

@whitjxoxo I can see instances where the ‘poster’ attribute is missing from your ‘amp-video’ tags.

Please could you try the following to fix these:

    1. From Web Stories go in to edit your Web Story.
    2. Remove all videos and place them back into the story.
    3. Check your pre-publish checklist panel and ensure there are no errors about missing ‘poster’ attributes.
    4. Publish your changes.
    5. Run your Web Story through the AMP validator to check it is now valid.

Let me know if this resolves your issue and if you have any further questions.

As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
