Logo and favicon won't upload

  • I can’t seem to upload a logo or favicon using the “Customiz’it” tool in the Customizr theme. I created a child theme, and when it wasn’t working there I also tried using the base theme. Neither work. I’ve checked permissions for the upload file and it’s 755. Any ideas? I will have to change themes if I can’t get this basic function to work.

  • The usual problem is plugin conflict, so will have to prove that first:
    Deactivate all plugins
    Test if OK
    Reactivate plugins one-by-one to find the culprit.

    I have the same problem in new version of Customizr. I am running another website on old version and logo upload is fine… have same plugins too…

    Thanks for the info.
    I had tried deactivating plugins and then finally got on the phone with my hosting service late last night. There was something odd going on that had to be fixed server-side.

    Campingninja, you may have to go this same route, as the function was working fine on other sites, just not this one (all that use the same hosting service).
