Logo and Site Title

  • I understand that the recommended size for a logo is 240 x 240 px. However I would like to have both the site title and a logo side by side in the header. Is this possible? I could create a logo combining the site title and a logo but this would be about 500 x 240 px – would this be an issue?

    That’s certainly theme dependent. You could put the text in the logo or use CSS to align things. Again, theme dependent.

    Sorry – using twenty sixteen. url is modburyremembers.org.uk I would like to make the logo that is there wider but not sure if it will affect anything else

    The only way to know is to upload a wider logo, tell it to skip cropping, and see what happens, then correct anything via CSS.
