Logo and Tagline not appearing

Hi,
When I add the logo and tagline, they do not appear. It seems that the they are misplaced. they appear at the far right of the page (instead at the left). I only know they are there because by clicking on the place they suppose to appear, you can see the ‘shadow’ of the tagline and logo. otherwise they are completely covered.

but when i change to tab or phone view, they do appear. Please help.

i have updated WordPress, using google Chrome and Windows 7.
