    Hello guys,

I have set a logo with 108×139 and 14% logo max width to my website & the page titel on the right side of the logo. Now everytime I go or reload my website , the logo is the only part that becomes a little grey square with the logo missing before the logo loads 1 second later. Any ideas why that is and how to fix it? I am using the Kadence theme, if that is important.

    Thanks

    John

  • Hi John,

I’m unsure if this will help but try setting the background-color to transparent for that element.

    Best regards,

    Malcolm.

    Hi Malcolm,

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I went ahead and tried to change the settings but there are no settings for the logo apart the Logo Max Width and the different Layouts. Now for the Site Title there are these options like colors, hovering , padding, etc. Just the Logo is causing the graphic glitch though, not the site title.

    Thanks again,

    John

I am suddenly not able to edit my post therefore I must reply again.
I shall note that the logo I am using is a PNG image that I made transparent by removing the backround with an online tool.

It happens with no other image in the website , only with the logo. I read somewhere in the forums that I might have o load JS asynchronously , I have the option to load CSS asynchronously in my litespeed plugin , but there is no option for JS.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Hi John! If I understand correctly, the issue is the grey area showed before your logo is fully downloaded, right? As you say you’re setting your logo at 14% of its dimension I suggest scaling down that image to more accurate dimensions to the final display, this should improve the performance of your site (logo loading faster) and your users will download less unnecessary data.

It still may take time to download on slow connections, so you might need to modify your site’s styles with CSS if you don’t want the grey color in the background.

Otherwise, please reach to the theme’s support, they should be able to address your questions.

    Hello guys ,

I got in contact with Karla , from Kadence and I was told to exclude the lazy loading I was using in my litespeed caching for the Logo and it obviously worked.

    Thank you.
