Logo disappeared only on homepage after changing logo file

  • Hi, the entire site (work still in progress) worked fine until I tried a different logo. Now the new logo appears on all pages but the homepage, where it is not appearing. The space where it should be is just blank.

    I read some older threads and tried to solve the issue by clearing the hosters (=siteground) and the browsers cache, but this does not help.
    Also on my tablet same behavior.

    Any suggestions welcome…

    I was too impatient and activated a back-up of the site, so that I can continue working on it.
    So at the moment, I have the old logo back and no issue.
    I will revive this thread in case the issue occurs again.
