Hiya it seems the logo image is a bit fuzzy, out of focus and certainly not as sharp as it is when image is looked at on my computer. How can I fix this please?

    Thanks

Please note: the logo image is the same dimensions as it was exported in photoshop and I have tested it as a png and jpg. Both of them are still fuzzy and of less quality.

Hey, what size image are you using? Can you post a link?

    Hi Hannah

Its happening on more than one website.

    https://globalpensions.consulting

    The image size is 522 x 100px

    Thank you

    Hey,
The little fuzzy seems to be in your image.. see this: https://globalpensions.consulting/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/gps.jpg

Maybe your seeing something different when it’s on your site though?

one thing is that your logo is being resized to fix the content area it’s being placed it. Might be better to upload one that is at max 450px wide.

It must be losing quality when it is uploaded? I will try the new size.

    thank you

Sorry one me thing. Surely if I set the logo to full width in theme options it would fit?

I have resized the image to 450×86 and the quality is still poor???

I still see that your image quality isn’t great: https://globalpensions.consulting/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/gps1.jpg

Changing to 450 wouldn’t improve that it will just keep the browser from having to resize it and some browsers don’t do that well.

How are you exporting from photoshop? Are you using save for web? what is the compression quality on the jpg. Try making that larger.

I am exporting them with the highest quality. They look good in photoshop and good when viewing them on my desktop too. It’s only after they are uploaded in theme options that they lose quality. ??

Theme Author Ben Ritner – Kadence WP

    (@britner)

well, they shouldn’t be getting compressed when you upload because your showing the fullsize. Unless your using a plugin that is recompressing. (Check that)

You can upload in the theme options or a media library it’s all the same. The theme doesn’t upload the images differently.

Yes thats right. I’ve just uploaded another in the media library and it is still poor quality.

I’ve uploaded it to a non wordpress website see here: https://wizardwebsites.co.uk/images/gps2a.jpg

The quality is still poor? That means the image is. But when I look at the image on my computer and in photoshop it looks much more sharp. Why is this?

This is so weird… The images on my desktop and in photoshop are all smaller, even though they have the same dimensions.

Check this out, it has all 3: https://wizardwebsites.co.uk/images/tester.jpg

Are you zoomed in with your browser?

Have you tried in other browsers?

Yes firefox, chrome and IE. All zooms reset.

I realise this is now not an issue with your brilliant theme but it would certainly be interesting to me and other who have experience this to understand whats going on.

Other different laptops. Do you see the same? Middle image larger and fuzzy?
