Logo image not displayed properly on mobile

  • Hello,
    Search the forum and found close but not similar topics.
    My logo shows perfectly on desktop, but not on mobile (tagline font is different and shoes weird spaces in between letters).
    As if on mobile, it was not the same image that was uploaded than on desktop.
    I am a it new and confused. I tried using css code with é different class id (and they both had an effect on the mobile logo size, but not overall design).
    An help welcome.
    My theme is “soigné”, by Revolve Themes.

    contact the support team using this link to get appropriate guidance for change(s) to make to CSS for logo/header area.

    Hi Lisa!
    Thanks a lot. I contacted them through their support form and by email (which bounced) already. The bouncing email didn’t feel quite a good omen. So I am looking for different sources of help in the meantime, hoping for the theme’s support team to get back to me at some point.

    volunteers on this forum don’t have access to commercial theme files

    if you don’t hear back from the support team of the theme you purchased and it turns out you need to hire someone to help you could try https://jobs.wordpress.net/

    Hello,
    Fixed it! at least part of it.
    That is how, for those who might have had the same issue:
    Why :
    1. My logo header is on svg format, with a particular font
    2. turns out svg isn’t readable the same way on all devices, especially if you have a specific font that is not a web font. In that case, you might experience a completely different font and even weird spacing missing letters on some devices (mobile in my case)
    3. The way I found to fix it is to rework the logo (in illustrator for my part)

    How:
    1. open the logo in your design software
    2. select the whole or part that is problematic
    3. in Illustrator, go in “Type > create outlines”
    4. Save and export in svg
    5. Upload in your WordPress media library
    6. Customize your theme so the new “outlined” logo shows in the header.

    And voilà!
    Hope it wil help some of you.

    Now I am left with a size issue that I will open a new topic for, but thank you Lisa for your help and precious advice.
