Logo image quality

  • The logo image of site https://bottegamica.shop/, uploaded months ago (1800×1800 px), was ok till yesterday. Now, I have just noticed a poor quality, but only in the front-end view. In the attachment, you can see that in the front-end view (first image) there is this problem, while in the back-end view (secon image) it is ok. While trying to check the image used for the logo, I have seen a note saying that the suggested sizes for logo are 180×60 px. I think there is a mistake, because it is a too small size. Just to have a comparision, I have checked the suggested sizes for Site Identity (obviously smaller that the logo), and they are 512×512 px. Is it a mistake in the last update? How can I solve this issue? As you certainly understand, the logo is a very important part of a company. The strange point is that I can see this problem only from computer (different computers and different browsers), while it is ok from mobile phones.

  • Hi @gessy84,

    You can resize the Site Log from the Customizer. Refer to this screenshot, please. Unless you set the Logo Width bigger than the actual size of the image you are using as the Site Logo, then the Site Logo should not look blurry. Please check again on your end.

    Apart from that, I noticed that you are still using very old of the Astra theme. Please update it to the latest version. This is not related to the blurry issue you are facing, though.

    thank you for the reply.

    The actual size of the image I am using as the Site Logo is 1800x1800px. The setting of the logo width is 170px. The Site Logo is still blurry from computers, while it is ok from mobile phones. I do not understand why.

    Thanks for the advice to update Astra Theme. I have done it.

    I look forward to getting some other advices to solve this issue.

    To be honest, I am not sure with what I see from my end. Whether it is blurry or not. Please refer to this screenshot to see what your Site Logo looks like on my end.

    Is it blurry?

    When I check the source code of your site. I can’t spot anything wrong there. The logo is using the correct 170px by 170px image file, as seen in this screenshot.
