@gennyf, this theme has its own way to upload the logo. Please follow the instruction below to see if it works.

    1. Click “Appearance”>”Theme Options”
    2. Select “General Settings”
    3. You can upload a logo from the “Header Logo Image” section.
    4. Click “Save Changes”.

I’m following your steps exactly and I still get no logo in the header. I’ve tried JPG, GIF and PNG files of various sizes. Double checked that I’m using RGB images, stepped off this theme, tried a couple others and came back…nothing. It’s showing up in the “Theme Options / General Settings” section but doesn’t come through on the live page. Any advice.

The page is currently in development and sitting at https://burnstobacconist.com/burns99/

Maybe you can try to load the logo in the right folder by ftp; please, search where is loaded the logo: for example
    https://www.website.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/logo.jpg
    (search in css style)
    Ciao

As far as I know, the logo is loaded in the correct folder already…it’s where all the other images for the page reside so far…in the wp-content/uploads/2015/3 folder. I’ve accessed other images in that folder from the Theme Options (including images for the Merit Box Settings) and they are in the same folder.

@burnsadmin, is your *Show Header Logo” switch turned on? It’s in the “General Settings” in the theme options. This needs to be turned on otherwise the logo will not show up. This is one thing I failed to mention on my previous post. Please double check. Thanks.

I’ve found the problem lies in the way the theme mod option is saved – have a look at the source, you will see the URL is stripped of some characters ( : . / ) and it’s one big long string with no path separators – for example, my logo gets output as:

    https://httplocalhostsite-namewp-contentuploads201503site-name-splash_01png

So it seems there’s some kind of problem saving the value in the options.

This seems to work if you go through the ‘Appearance > Theme options’ instead of ‘Appearance > Customise’

    Hope it helps ??

I have the same problem – whatever I do, I can’t get the logo to show.
I have uploaded it through all possible ways (including ‘Appearance > Theme options’ instead of ‘Appearance > Customise’) – and it’s even there, I can see it in there, uploaded, but it’s not visible on the page. And all the settings for SHOW is ON.

I’m pretty much repeating what phillipdp mentioned, but we tried see if we can replicate this issue. The problem occured when we first uploaded logo through the “Appearance > Customize”.
Doing this will turn on the switch in the “Theme Options”, but logo will not appear on the website.

    Please try followings.

    1. Remove header logo image from the “Theme Options”, then upload it again. Again, it is important do this on the “Theme Options”.

    2. Make sure the “Show header logo” switch is turned on, then click “Save Changes”. You don’t have to touch the “Customize” section.

    Hope it works.

    Hi,
Got it to work (my bad – didn’t understand to click one specific box).
But it seems I can either have a logo or the name of the page, not both – if I try to have both, I get the name of the page but it has a small image thumbnail on it.
So I opted to have the logo.

Glad to know that it worked! Yeah, just like many other themes around, it’s either have a logo or have a text name. If you want to have logo with text, so far the only way is to have text included into the logo.

I have the same issue on https://www.psychicsharonsampsel.com. I’ve added through Appearance/Theme Options, deleted and re-uploaded image and it won’t show. The Show Header Logo button is On.

We checked its settings, however there was no issue and it works normally.
Did you turn on the specific box botton (General Settings > Show Header Logo)?
I am sorry to trouble you, but please check your settings.

On the other hand, we guess its slider disturbs the added logo, therefore could you deactivate the slider temporarily?
Please try to correct the positon of the slider if you could confirm the logo.

    I’m having the same issue.
I added the logo through Theme Options and it didn’t work, so I deleted all logos from everywhere and retried adding the logo through Theme Options and it still isn’t working. Can you please have a look and see if you can see anything:
