Logo is too big how do I make it smaller.

Hi, the problem is in the logo image. There are lots of white space around the logo. You need to crop the space and reduce the logo size a bit.

I tried that and it didn’t work.

Use a local image editor to make your logo the size suggested by your theme maker, upload that as the theme logo, and it should not need cropping (do not crop if using theme recommended logo size).

You can set this using css. Open your style.css from Appearance>Theme Editor and hit ctrl+F to find following codes. Change max-width 100% to 50% or as your requirements. Hope its work.

The problem is the height of the image.

This css property reduces height also gradually. Apply first then let me know. I tested via firebug it works.

Sure, but that will not remove the extra white space in the image, which appears to be the issue.

I got it fixed. I was hitting save after changing the image. I didn’t realize that it was just saving it to my library and then I had to go pick the newly resized image and put it in where the logo goes. I thought when I hit save it would change the logo but it does not. You have to then go and upload your new image into the site.
