    Hi,

I would like the navigation to stay central – where it is but by uploading logo via Customizing Site Identity it shunts navigation around, increases height and leaves no margin to remove the height its created as all padding setting set to zero.

For Customizing ? Layout Header I have uploaded logo and in tablet/phone it has aligned left but no logo appears on desktop.

Pls kindly clarify which route one uses to upload a logo and perhaps how I can upload it so it remains left with navigation remaining central and without the affecting the height of the header.

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

have you added a Logo to the Customizer > Site Identity ? As this is the default place for adding a logo on the free theme.

I have, that is where I uploaded it to. This is what happens. Pushes header height down. Logo size as req’ 270 x 50. Altering width slider does not allow it to move up, ideally need logo to sit on same level as menu.

Can you upload the logo so we can see the issue?

Have you tried cropping the logo?

Looks like there is a lot empty space/padding on the left and right of the actual logo:

I tried it originally 75px sq – same thing. Above is just following logo dimension wp advice.

That image is still too wide. You simple want just the square icon, ignore what WP’s advice is – it don’t apply here.

Gone from 75 px sq to 50 px squared – still doing the same.

    Hi there,

Is there any way you can add the logo to the website so we can inspect the code? It’s hard to debug using screenshots, unfortunately.

Just to confirm, are you wanting the logo and navigation on the same line, but with the navigation centered?

Hi Tom, yes, to the logo and navigation on same line but logo left and menu to remain center on desktop. Logo working ok now on mobile/tablet mode – thanks

Is there any way you can actually add the logo on desktop so I can inspect it? It’s difficult to provide accurate code without being able to see all of the variables.

    Let me know ??

Please check https://menspleasures.com/ – will leave it up a day with header out of place. Tks.

Can you set the navigation location to float right first?

have removed logo for now as it’s sending header off balance.

Navigation is set to below header.

There is a logo uploaded in Customizing ? Layout Header which appears in tablet and phone view.

It doesn’t appear in desktop hence I upload the same logo to Customizing Site Identity which is where we are at at the beginning with logo choosing to drop bottom far left below navigation as you previously saw before I removed it.

Why may I ask do you have 2 separate places to upload a logo to?
It pops up fine in responsive modes fyi
