Logo links to WordPress install directory instead of site URL

  • I uploaded a site logo via the theme options, but the image links to my WordPress install directory instead of the site URL set in WP General Settings. I could do a 301 redirect, but I’d rather just fix it.

    I’m using a custom child theme, so I’m not sure what or how to edit the necessary files, and incorporate the edits into my child theme to avoid them being overwritten with theme updates. The WP Codex on the subject of making headers clickable doesn’t seem to help me because I haven’t been able to locate where the URL is being set.

    Any ideas?
