• Logo keeps being automatically resized smaller than actual image uploaded. No matter what I do, the template seems to always resize the logo. What is the issue?

    the site is artisanfaregoods.com

I have exactly the same problem.
Sadly Make seems to be very restrictive on its Icon / Header Title and Tagline layout so I have designed a logo title and tagline as an image elsewhere and want to bring it in as an Icon and to leave the the title and taglines hidden.
But for some strange reason it makes the icon small.
So I tried bring my design in as a background image for the Header bar but can’t get that to look good either as it overlaps the menus below it.
Cripes – one would think that designing a good title, tagline and icon would be one of the easiest things in WordPress themes but it certainly is not.

Hi everyone! So sorry to hear you’ve hit some problems with your logo images.

How are you trying to upload these logos? Are you using the Customizer?

@scott: I’m using the customizer to upload a logo image. One problem I ran into was if I uploaded a logo image that was too large then deleted the image and tried to re-upload the image in smaller size for some reason the uploader thought I was still using the larger image until I renamed the image.

Hello @hellosteveo! Sometimes the Customizer can take a couple of seconds to update—and before it updates, it looks like nothing is happening.

After you upload your logo image, are you saving and publishing your changes?

@scott, yes I was saving and publishing my changes. I figured out that you must upload a logo image in the exact size you want it because the customizer doesn’t allow resizing like some other themes do.

I’m glad this is resolved. Best of luck with your site build!
