Logo size throwing off menu alignment?

I’m building my site right now using “The Game” theme – I’ve added my logo but the size it needs to be for legibility is not only causing it to bleed down into the background image for the menu bar, but it’s dropping the whole site down so the menu links and search bar are now at the top like a banner instead of within the green menu boundaries. Any suggestions on how to lower the header menu and search box so they are in-alignment with the rest of the page?

Can’t post a link right now as I’m building the site remotely, but if need be I can launch it on a side-site and post a link to help diagnose my problem
