Hi, i’ve just updated the plugin (from 3.5.1) and suddenly all my logos are very much smaller on our website. I see in the code the wrapper divs now have hard-coded HEIGHTS which seems to be the issue. i don’t know what has change regarding size management but this HEIGHT spec now overrides the shortcode user settings e.g. even though i have “Desktop Logos” set to “3” it’s drawing 5 across now i think because the sizing of each image has been overridden using this style/height code on the wrapper div:
    <div class=”gs_logo_single–wrapper” style=”height:48.7344px;”

is there anywhere i can download 3.5.1 for now to roll back temporarily? thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there, thanks for the response. I have managed to get the 3.5.1 version off my backup, so am ok for now using this version. I tried 3.6.0 this morning, but this doesn’t solve the issue (the changelog for 3.6.0 doesn’t mention this sizing issue it just says “[Improved]: Compatibility Checking With Pro Version.”).

I can’t give a link i’m afraid as a) it’s a private dev site and b) i’ve rolled back to 3.5.1 so it doesn’t show the issue anyway.

it’s definitely something to do with the style=”height: 48px” code mentioned above. 3.5.1 doesn’t inject hardcoded px heights like that (it seems to use widths and percentages)

    Hi @tallhat,

    Great day!

We’ve just rolled out Logo Slider version 3.6.1, packed with significant updates. While not all changes are listed in the changelog, we are actively working to enhance stability.

Regarding the height issue, we assure you that it’s not hardcoded. To assist you better, could you let us know the theme you’re using with Logo Slider? A screenshot sent to our contact page ( https://www.gsplugins.com/contact ) would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks a bunch for your collaboration. We’re committed to ensuring a seamless experience for you.

    Best regards,

hi there, thanks. Have tried 3.6.1 but still a similar issue. it’s either ignoring the Shortcode settings (for number of logos across) OR the width/height calculations are wrong now. 3.5.1 is ok but all the higher versions i’ve tried have given the same problem. I’m not saying the heights are ‘hard-coded’ clearly they are calculated on the fly, but something is wrong in the new versions. I’ll send a couple of screenshots to your contact link.

But as an example, in the GS logo code I have this difference for the logo wrapper divs (“gs_logo_single–wrapper” class):
    3.5.1: “style=”height: 117px;””
    3.6.1: “style=”height: 156.391px;””

and the ONLY difference is the GS logo plug-in version, nothing else in the site changed.

hi there, im expiriencing the same problem. Im using an Enfold child theme. Since a while the logos don’t resize to either mobile nor tablet sizes. is there a fix to it or is an update planned to fix it?
    Thanks for the reply.

I did send screenshots a week ago to the contact form. I can’t share a link as it’s a dev site, and anyway we’ve reverted to 3.5.1 for now, so that wouldn’t really help.

the website where the problem is located is https://www.rhema.ch. and to compare it: gwerblertag.ch.

Hi – I recently purchased the pro version of this plugin (files provided by https://www.gsplugins.com/account/file-downloads/). The pro plugin is showing version 3.5.3, and the lite plugin is showing version 3.6.5 – I could not find an update for the pro version. All of the logos are sized 4080 px by 2040 px, and they’re showing up on our home page as tiny images. I tried adjusting the custom image size per your instructions here, but it still doesn’t change the size.

I’ve removed it from our website, but you can see a screenshot of it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wt_qhWmeeUNs8YdMUO1DuOPoO0eg1eMv/view?usp=sharing
