Logo upload loses resolution on web page

I have created a logo in SVG that I exported as a 150 x 151 PNG file in order to use it in the theme. I uploaded the media and cropped it to 150 x 150 in order to set it as the logo. It looks great in the “site identity” customization tab, but publishing it to the website makes it pixelated. Is the logo area on the site actually larger than the suggested dimensions?
