Logo width

I have a logo file with a width of 2000 and height of 542. Both are not displayed with these dimensions but at width 1120 by height 304. I have looked everywhere in respect to margins, padding etc. but to no avail.

Who has any idea what I may have overlooked or should insert to remedy this situation.
