    Hi there
After a big upgrade I was logged out all the time. I did everything recommended on the WordPress Pages changed the .htaccess File, cleared the cache, enabled the cookdies, tried again with all different browsers I know, nothing really worked.
Only when I deactivate the woocommerce plugin, it is working fine.
But the problem is, that I need the woocomerce.
I have also no debugging messages I also repared and cleaned the database.
    Do you have a solution?
    Hope you can help me.
    Regards
    Claudia

  • Hi there,

I’m a little unclear on what is happening when you say “Logout all the time”. Can you let us know what is happening in a little more detail?

    Thanks!

    Hi Zach
I can login in my backend that’s no problem. I see the dashboard and everything is clear and correct. When I click on for example sides or products or something else (it doesn’t depend on what) I get sometimes there sometimes it kicks me out, this means I have to login again. That’s also working but then I click again on the part I want to work with and sometimes I can go on step more further, this means I can get into sides but when I want to work there it logs me out again. I can login again no problem but after clicking again on products or something else, it logs me out again.
When I deactivate woocommerce all is working fine. No more problem, I can work on my backend. The problem I have is that I have to work with the products so I should activate woocommerce.
I know that the Webmaster who built the webside did it not in the correct way, he is an IT-Spezialist and he made it with a lot of codes.
The hoster helped me to put a correct wordpress installation over the old one and the support from the theme helped me to put the correct installation from the theme and also the editor over the old installation.
My idea is that maybe we can also do this with the woocommerce because I think there were parts missing. Is this possible? It would be great when you could help me with this.
If it helps I can give you the login details and also the login to the hosting that you can look at it. That would be great!
    Hope you can help me!
Thanks a lot and have a wonderful day.
    regards
    Claudia

    Hi Claudia,

Thanks for providing these additional details!

Which browser are you using? If you haven’t tried with a different browser, try that and let us know the results.

    Hi Zach

I have still the same problem, do you need more information or maybe the login, I will send to you, that you can see what’s happening.
I should really work on this homepage in the products so it is not a solution to deactivate the plugin.

    Hope you can help me.

    Hi @kunstgrafik

The problem you are having is likely limited to the site you’re working on. Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict, as cookies are not being saved as expected.

As a first step, try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Twenty and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue. Here is a link that better outlines that process:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

If this fixes the issue, then re-enable each plugin one at a time, then the theme, until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    Hi @kunstgrafik

Since we didn’t get a reply back within a week we’ll mark this issue as resolved. Feel free to open a new support thread should you have any questions.
