Here is a sample site i did to test UM. On the main page there is home, register and login link. When a user registers it directs to user profile which is fine. From here the only way to logout is from the user profile under the settings icon. If the user goes to homepage link from here, then there is no option to logout unless they click the login link again to get to another page that shows your account and logout link.

My question was, once they have logged in will there be a logout link shown, and if they move around other pages do they need to click back on the login link in order to get back to your account and log out page since the logout link is not shown and also user profile link is not shown on the top near the other links once logged in.

The Ultimate Member plugin creates the Logout page on installation. You can add the Logout page item to the menu near the Login page item and make the Logout menu item visible for logged in users only.

Thanks for the info, that makes sense now. I have a question, is it possible to have the conditional logout menu on a custom login button instead of the preset main menus as in the picture?
