I run 2 different websites and use WordPress for both, different hosts. In the past week, both websites have the same issue: when I log out and go view the website, it shows my name still along with the various links at the top (edit..) as though I didn’t log out. I did find that if I try to use edit, it actually asks for me to login, so no one can do anything but it doesn’t need to show up at all. Adding a screen shot so you can see what I mean, this is after I’ve logged out. Another thing I found, if I do ctrl-F5 on every computer, it disappears but I can’t do that every time. Anyone have any ideas??
Your browser cache still keeps a copy of the frontend around after you’ve logged out. If it’s your browser then there’s nothing really you can do about it. If you have any cache plugins running on your site then that could be the cause of the issue and is something you can look into to rectify.

]]>The site show the login info on every page after I’ve logged out of edit mode. In order to make it disappear, I have to hit ctrl-F5 to refresh. On one site, that’s no big deal since I do it from home but the other site is at work, public library, and I’d have to go to every computer and do the ctrl-F5 every time it happens.
