In the WooCom Admin under Orders there is a little eye icon as long as “Actions” is checked for Screen Options.

This little eye icon calls up a lightbox window with the customer order. At the bottom of the lightbox window is a button “Completed”.

When I click this “Completed” button or I click the checkbox for “completed” on the order list, it changes the order status to completed, automatically refreshes, and brings me back to my homepage as opposed to staying in the admin in Orders.

Essentially, it takes me out of the WP admin and I have login again.

    Hi there,

The fact that completing an order through a lightbox or from orders page logs you out of wp-admin indeed sounds strange.

I wasn’t able to replicate this on my test site so this behavior must be isolated to your WooCommerce install.

Is your user assigned an “administrator” role?

Issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Storefront https://www.woocommerce.com/storefront/ or Twenty Seventeen https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentyseventeen/ Theme.
    2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
    3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

One tool you can try is Health Check https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ If doing this on your live site is not possible, can you create a duplicate site? We suggest using WP Staging https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/ if your hosting provider does not offer a staging server as an option.

Thank you for the response. It looks like it is happening in other areas non-woocom too now. So it may be a WP issue and in fact nothing to do with WooCom. Thank you for the response ??

    Hi there,

Thank you for letting us know!

You’re right, this is most likely not related to WooCommerce.

Does the same behavior persist with all plugins disabled?

We are in process, but waiting for the client to allow the troubleshooting process. I will update you once I find the culprit.
