Logout on Mobile Device

    When I try to logout of my WordPress website on an iPhone and iPad nothing happens. I have no issue logging out on my desktop computer, I simply select the ‘Logout’ link from the admin bar. In order to logout from my WordPress website on a mobile device I have to copy the logout link and paste it in the internet address bar and press ‘Enter’ on my keyboard. The link clearly is there but is not functioning. I have tried logging out of my WordPress website in Safari and Fire Fox with no result. Usually I use Firefox for accessing the website on my desktop. Cheers.

    WordPress.com requires the use of browser cookies in order for our site to work properly. If you have trouble with some sections of your site, you can check to make sure you have cookies enabled.

    Hi there, I have tested logging out of my site on iPhone in Safari with Cookies turned off. JavaScript is enabled, and I cleared browser Cache and Cookies but I am still unable to log out of my site via the admin bar Log out link. I have also recently noticed that the ‘New User’ link under ‘+New’ in the admin bar is not working at the front end of my site, but does work at the admin area of my site. This is occurring with my desktop computer so I am not sure if these two issues are related. Cheers.

    Hi there, please ignore the mention of the New User link not functioning as I have found it is not related to the above mentioned issue.

    Hi all, I have been advised that for mobile devices in order to Log Out you double tap the Log Out link. Cheers.
