Long Item Description – Output limit – No answer yet

    We sent you the following message on January 5 and we have not received an answer or a solution so far.
    Also, we gave you access to the website in order to check the issue.

    We have set up the free version of the plugin to the following site: https://kleidaras-thessaloniki.gr/ (wp woocommerce site) and we are facing two issues, that we need your advices on.
    1. There is no automated download of the csv file via the following link https://kleidaras-thessaloniki.gr/wp-content/uploads/woo-feed/adwords/csv/product_feed_dimtsiosk.csv. We face the screen attached (issue 1.PNG)
    2. There are quite many product errors, due to long item description (too many characters) and we could not restrict the value to a certain limit. Is there a solution regarding this problem?
    There is no functionality on the output type html entities (Output limit).
    Please, let me know in case you need any further clarifications.

    Hi,

    We found a bug when output limit and strip tags triggered together. We are working on it. We will let you know soon after fixing the issue.

    Hi,

    Please update to the latest version and try again. In the latest version (2.2.0) we by default processed shortcodes as HTML. Now you have to add the Output limit to limit your long description.

    Thank you for your reply.

    The feed you created is suitable for Google Shopping (Merchant Center) and Output Limit is 4000 characters.
    We tried to limit down the value to less than 1000, on your own feed, but it did not work.

    We need to have 25 characters and feed type: Adwords (custom feed for Dynamic Remarketing).

    In addition, when we open the feed via its url, it can not be downloaded as we had initially set it up.

    We tried to create feeds with different output types & limits. The limit with value 30 works only for output type htmlentities. But, when we open the feed, the product description doesn’t have the proper appearance (for expample <h5>YALE 5630035</h5&).

    Today, we tried once again the combination output type: striptags & limit: 30 and it did not work (message: “No Product Found with your feed configuration. Please configure the feed properly.”). It works only for 4000 and above.

    Finally, would it be possible to set a lower limit (below 4000) in combination with output type: striptags ?
