Long waiting time after migration

  • Hi guys,
    After wordpress migration, P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler shows a Plugin Load Time of 11 seconds despite 0.345 seconds of the old site.
    I used altervista server and now I change to Dreamhost (paying a lot).
    I’ve already contacted Dreamhost support but they said me that there is no problem.
    Now I have the same plugin but 11 seconds of loading time!!
    Do you know any solutions??

  • change the number of posts showing
    any post with an image, optimize the image
    Disable ALL Plugins
    swap to the twenty-fourteen

    now check the load time, if it is faster, reverse each of those suggestions and test after each one till you find the culprit.

    thanks juggledad but I have already tested those suggestions. I also tried to re-install wordpress and however with no plugin it takes 5 seconds to load..
