long window.onload delay

Hello.
Usually window.onload event takes an 1-3 seconds long.
But after adding background video, it takes 10-15 seconds.
Video file is small (2mb), and have a 10 second duration.
Window-load event is used by JS-scripts with additional logic.
How can i prevent onload event delay?

Sorry, problem was uncompressed jpg images used by previous developer.
