Automatic Posts Tagger mostly add small single word keywords to the posts which are of limited importance as such words are too common and extremely difficult to realize its benefit in search engines.

It shall have a setting that shall allow us to select minimum words in the keyword phrase like 3 , to ensure that bigger and more useful pharases are added as keyword.

e.g. if an article is on pets.. then adding words like cat, dog as keyword is not good, instead words like Cat food, Dogs for sale, pets for sale, automatic pet feeder … etc are more useful if related to the article

Could you please elaborate? Do you want to add tag X only of related words Y and Z are in the post at the same time, not just Y or Z?

I expect APT to come with keywords as close as possible to Google Adwords Keyword tool

Goto Google Adwords Keyword tool. Try some URL of a page and check keywords generated and compare with the Tags generated by APT.

    My observation is
    APT select very simple words
    Automatic, Post, wordpress, tags

But Adwords tool return keywords like:
Automatic post tagger, wordpress plugin, automatically add tags, bulk tagging

Important observation is that almost all keywords in adwords consist of 2-4 words while 80% of the Tags generated by APT are single word (based on analysis of title and content)

Can we make APT to always generate longer phrases of 2-4 words

Sure, but you’ll have to create them yourself first. This plugins works only with data provided by users, unlike other plugins, that use external API.

If you want APT to add longer phrases as tags, then you’ll have to create them on the plugin’s options page and assign corresponding related words. Remember that version 1.5 supports importing CSV files, which makes the whole process easier.
