Looking for…

  • I’m in the process of moving a site I’m running from Drupal to WordPress (Drupal’s buggy and too complicated for most of my users and I frankly like WordPress) and have been able to tweak with or find plugins for most of the things I need the site to do. However, one thing I haven’t been able to find yet is a way to allow my users to send private messages to each other. I’m wondering if there is a plugin out there for this that I haven’t been able to find yet or if I’m going to have to write it myself (which seems like it might be a bit more complicated than the simple tweaks I’ve done with it thus far).

  • I haven’t personally run across anything like this. It’s not impossible that there’s something out there I simply haven’t seen, of course. Try doing a broad-match google search for “private message plugin, wordpress” and variations thereof….

    …or I would if the only download link I’ve been able to find wasn’t broken. Might anyone have a direct download link that’s not from wp-plugins?
