Looking for a basic 2 column theme with standard wordpress coding

Hi,

I’ve been searching everywhere for a 2 column wordpress theme which is basic but has the same sort of layout as Perspehone by Themocracy: https://themocracy.com/2009/08/persephone-free-wordpress-theme

I’ve been trying to modify the header of this theme in particular but the coding just doesn’t make sense when looking at the header guidelines in the codex. Does anyone know of a theme similar to this?
