  • I like it! Clean, simple, and looks good. Recommendations: Add social media, such a facebook. It’ll make a difference!

    Hi Jim,

Hope you don’t get offended, but I’m honest and won’t sugar coat it. Make the background white, get rid of the brown color. Trust me on that. Your logo needs to be redesigned, as of now it looks like a bad government stamp. Your audience is 99% female but your design is too strict and too dry to make the impact. Believe me, Julia (Diane would know) wouldn’t like it either ?? She is a successful Greek Guru; and her site should reflect that. This website because of her status has a huge potential to be fantastic, so don’t make the mistake of saving a few bucks over a professional design.

You also need some serious SEO help as your site is nonexistent on the web. You have a lot of links pointing to your site, so use them to your advantage. You can have the million dollar design but if no one can find you, you still have nothing.

Your navigation menu is ungodly horrible. Not only that it doesn’t look good, I can’t even go from “top row” to “bottom row” without pulling my hair out.

Here’s a site for example that I’m working on: https://thcorp.org , it’s a nonprofit website but it targets the female audience. (Only the front page is done, so don’t pay attention to the rest. See the colors, the shapes, the graphics.

Here’s another article on what makes a great website which might give you a few insight.

Also your slideshow is giving gazillion errors; you need to look into that as well.

I hope I wasn’t too harsh, but if i was, take it as a free professional constructive critisim. Now I’m gonna try the Lamb-and-Vegetable Souvlaki wich looks amazing.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    This is nice

I appreciate all of the comments so far. Any input from an outside source is welcome.

@shirazdrum You mentioned that there were many errors on the slide show, could you elaborate?

    Thanks

You have missing images and your plugin is using an older version of a jQuery which will be trouble if doesn’t get updated in the future. Here’s a hint:

I’ll be honest, it is good, I liked it as a basic observer point of view, the colors work well.
