Looking for a good technology blog theme?

  • So I’ve been on the hunt for weeks now for a good wordpess technology blog type theme.
    I’m looking for something which has featured posts / featured slider and something that looks like https://www.engadget.com/ or https://www.technobuffalo.com/

    I found a REALLY good theme that I like https://www.magazine3.com/techblog/
    however it costs $50 and I don’t really want to go and spend that sort of money yet on a theme which I won’t keep for more than a year or so.

    Do any of you know any other wordpress themes (hopefully free) that fit the sort of criteria I’m looking for?
