I am looking for a Mentor to help me with a blog. I met a doctoral student who said that he designed websites/blogs and hosted them for $10 a month. So, I cancelled a website (very rudimentary) with Homestead at $25 a month and had him design a blog for me. After paying $630, I now have a blog that I don’t know how to configure, nor do I have a designer who provides any customer support. He will provide consulting, however, for a healthy fee.

So, I have written posts and created a couple of other pages, but I am just not knowledgable enough to take this thing where I want it to go without some help. They created the site using a child theme of Redux. The site is 401KPreservation.com, and incorporates managing my 401K account along with political and economic comments.

Will someone be kind enough to help a guy develop his blog??

    Thank you in advance,
    Bert

So, am I correct when I state that I have to manually type in every Subscriber’s email address into the box, and then I can highlight each one individually to send an email?
I have a subscriber, but she does not show up in the box for me to highlight. That is why it seems to me that I still have to plug in each email address individually. Is that correct?

No when you have a member register on your website and you have user list that list will show in the big box and you highlight list and send

I and one other person (the website designer)are the only two users. I do not see any email addresses anywhere. I have registered with another email address and I don’t see mine either. Where are they????

They should be in users did you activate from email as it only show in list once the link is activated.

Yes, I activated mine a few minutes ago. It still does not show up. Why are you using the term “user” when I am referring to subscribers??

is the same subscriber is role in you admin panel there is users tab click that and see if you see anyone there if not there some problem in setup.

I don’t understand what you are trying to say. I’m sorry. It doesn’t make sense. Subscribers and users are not the same. I put in users myself and assign a role to them. Subscribers subscribe to receive emails about posts I post. They are not the same.

So you are using some other way for them to subscribe to your post not register on your website if so yes they will not show in user list you will need check what ever you using if there is way to see the subscribers.

No, I am using Subscribe2 Widget: Subscribe on the blog site. I subscribe and then a confirmation email is sent. I activated the confirmation email. Still so sign of my email address. You can see the site at 401KPreservation.com.

Now that I know what you using for subscription you will see the list on your plugin in admin panel Subscribe2 and you can send emails from the same plugin you do not need the plugin I recommended.

click on send email and you will have list in dropdown and if you want see subscribers click on subscribers.

Where? I don’t understand what you are saying to do.

You need to log in admin panel at bottom left you should have a subscribe2 is this self host wordpress or a wordpress.com account as I installed same plugin on my test site and is working fine on my test site.
